Following a successful auction split for Y-2026, Swissgrid and RTE are pleased to announce that the France-Switzerland yearly capacity for the delivery year 2027 and 2028 will be split and offered into 3 separate auctions.

For yearly product 2027, the first auction was held in November 2025. The second will take place in September 2026 with the details below :

The focus will be the same as previous tests:

Yearly Auction Test Session (CORE & Nordic Regions)
Monthly Auction Test Session (CORE & Nordic Regions)

These sessions are intended to provide Market Participants with the opportunity to:

Familiarize themselves with the LTFBA auction setup
Navigate the platform and explore its functionalities
Submit and manage bids within the tool

Please note that these sessions are dedicated to practical testing within our Auction tool's test environment, allowing participants to actively interact with the system and validate their processes.
